Cosmetic Composition For Histamine Release Has A Cannabis Essential Oil
(US Patent No. 9,078,838 B2) LVMH Recherche has patented a cosmetic or dermatological composition for reducing histamine release comprising an effective amount of a combination of a cannabis essential oil obtained by a hydrodistillation process and being substantially free of cannabinoids, helichrysum essential oil; and at least one cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable excipient compatible with topical application to skin, lips or superficial body growths. The ratio of the concentrations of the cannabis essential oil and the helichrysum essential oil is between 80/20 and 20/80.

(US Patent No. 9,314,416 B2) Revance Therapeutics has patented a method of treating wrinkles that entails applying to an area of skin a formulation that entails a botulinum toxin; a carrier comprising a positively charged polymeric backbone with positively charged efficiency groups covalently attached thereto; a poloxamer; and a dermatologically or pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, diluent or medium. The botulinum toxin is non-covalently associated with the positively charged backbone; and the carrier is the sole necessary agent for non-covalently associating with the botulinum toxin.
